Hello everybody,
I think its time to make an upgade on my PC at GPU. Now I have the motherboard MSI-B75A-G43 and CPU Intel® Core™ i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30GHz.
Last year I upgrade my ram at 32gb DDR3 (RAM CORSAIR CMY16GX3M2A1600C9 VENGEANCE PRO 16GB DDR3 1600MHZ C9 DUAL CHANNEL KIT)
and SSD disk at 500GB.
My power supply is Corsair at 450 Watt.
Do you think does it worth to find a good graphic card in order to run Photoshop and a bit of Autocad or I will need a new upgrade really soon.
Thank you,
Stathis

2nd gen intel is quite dated. Probably wouldn't have spent money on DDR3 unless it was really cheap, we are already at the end for DDR4.

I would say a complete upgrade to something more modern would make sense, but without a budget can't really answer your question.

Well, for the money this is about as good as you can do with nearly current generation hardware. Just aren't any cheaper CPUs worth getting, all quad cores or less.

Roughly a ten times increase in total CPU power over your old i3.

You would have to re-use your case if possible, as well as the PSU and your storage.

If you don't want all the hassle, pick up a used workstation class computer.

$300, 128GB ram, 16 core processor (a bit old, but still decent), and even a quadro workstation GPU
