Question Graphics Card for Xeon E3 1225 V2 + Sandy Bridge Motherboard

I have a CPU built in 2014 with Xeon E3 1225 V2 processor, Sandy Bridge motherboard and 24 Gigs of RAM. The display of this CPU works but has severe lag (every frame refresh shows lag). I have the following requirements for my display:

1. 2K display support
2. 2-3 monitors support

Which is the most suitable graphics card for the above? I'm tight on budget; kindly keep that in mind. I will NOT be using this rig for gaming; so will not need high end cards.
