Question Graphics card upgrade

I currently have a 3070 paired up with a 3700x. Looking to upgrade something since now where I live graphics card prices have come way down. I can get a 3080 for like 850$ than I’d sell my 3070 so I wouldn’t be spending much. Would I see a difference between the 3070 and 3080 or a 6800xt?

I play apex legends, escape from tarkov, valorant, bloodline and at 1440p and the rest of my specs are. 3700x cpu 32gb of 4000 mhz ram.

I'd keep your current card and upgrade to a 5700x

I could actually do that and keep my mobo that I have but I would have to do a bios update i don’t know how to do that.

That motherboard has the flash BIOS button. It doesn't get much easier. Get your manual and give it a look.

I went from a 3080 to a 3070ti (long story), the performance drop was only 10%. Your gain from a 3070 to a 3080 would be marginal and dependant upon what resolution you play at.

Flashing the BIOS is usually more than pushing a button, the BIOS button normally just restores the back up BIOS. To reflash your BIOS to the latest version, read your manual but you will need to download the latest BIOS, probably onto a USB stick. Check the formatting required on the USB stick, its often Fat32
