I am about to buy a graphics card and i want to see if a XFX GeForce 7300GS DirectX 9 512MB or a GALAXY GeForce 9600 GT 512mb graphics card would work with my pc. I have a first generation i5 pc with 4 gb ram so can i use them? (these are the only graphics card that are available nearby so they are my only options at the moment)

Yes, both of those cards are compatible with your motherboard. I'm not sure about the 7300GS, but the 9600 definitely has a 6-pin power connector on it, so be sure your power supply has one of those to connect to the graphics card.

You'll be fine with either of those 2 cards, they both fit on and work with your motherboard. Do yourself a favor and pick up the GALAXY card if you still can.

You are not looking to play any newer games with those are you? If you are, wait till something else comes along, neither of those are much good for gaming unless you are playing things 10 years old.
