gt 1030 problem with acer pc new

hello guys please i need solution i got new gt 1030
when i try to put it in my old pc i3 + 8 gb acer with my friends monitor with hdmi it works fine !!
but i don t have hdmi in my monitor so i got covertiseur dvi-vga ( vga in my monitor + dvi in gpu)
but no way
i try to let the gpu in the mobo and i put vga in the mobo and not working !! and when trying to get the gt 1030 off and repower the pc ( with monitor putting in the mobo ) it works !!!!
i need solution please guys tnx

You need a active vga to dvi adapter for it to work.
