GTA V will not launch!

My GTA V will not launch at all! This is why my launcher is crashing apparently. Gibberish to me, but maybe someone else can help? This is one of the many many many error/crash messages. This is one of them, they all differ a little bit number/letter wise in some of the areas though.

@Jakester93, I got the exact same problem and I have done the same steps as you with the same results. So you are not alone, if we should be happy about that is another thing =/

Have you tried going to Computer > System Properties > Advanced system settings > Under "Performance" click Settings > Tab to Data Execution Prevention > Turn on DEP for all programs

Thanks for the reply.

Though earlier, I finally decided to just uninstall the game and try re-installing the game. Though now I cannot even install it again.
GTA V has completely been uninstalled. Tried re-installing via GTAV_Setup_Tool.exe.

-Chose path on where to download.
-Said Preparing to download Grand Theft Auto V
-It installed DirectX
-Then continued to install Microsoft Visual C++ Components
-GTA V Splash screen came up, with green loading bar underneath, once fully loaded, it closed out and nothing happened.

I'm at a complete loss on what to do now, I guess. When I did run the setup tool, nothing downloaded/installed. The only things that came into my GTA folder was a version.txt, PlayGTAV.exe, GTALauncher.exe, and a Readme folder. And then like I said, after the Microsoft Visual C++ Installs, the splash screen comes up with a green loading bar, fully loads, and then closes out.

i had the exact same problem... the only thing that worked for me was taking out my graphics card and rely on my on-board graphics... that fixed the download and installed the game... but for now i cant play it

try disable your Graphic-Card in the Device-Manager and start GTAV

I get 2 video cards on my laptop Intel 4600 & nvidia 760m, after I disable the intel 4600 and launch GTA V then everything goes fine. I was able to download and play it.

Okay, had the same problem. After installation only the splashscreen appeared, disappeared and nothing happens. Did download the foreign "GTAlauncher" file as suggested in other forums and manually installed "Social club". At least that did the trick in updating GTA V. But still, not able to run the game. Then I started shutting down my running programs in windows taskmanager. In the end, I figured out that my amBX driver was the problem. After shutting down this driver, GTA V was starting and I actually did play. Closing the gaming, shut down PC, starting PC, run GTA V and nothing happend again. Closing the amBX driver again and voila! I could start GTA V again.

I'm on AMD, 16 Gb Ram, radeon R9 270x graphics, installed on SSD.

If you are experiencing the same problem, I suggest you start by closing down programs in taskmanager, and continually see if GTA V will start.

I Just got this Topic in Search, then i visited and joined this forum to reply in this..
But i think..

GTA V always looking for the Default Folder... is " Grand Theft Auto V "
you can install it in anywhere but sure. it will be as..

D:\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\GTAVLauncher.exe
or
D:\Grand Theft Auto V\GTAVLauncher.exe

not as..
D:\Rockstar Games\GTAVLauncher.exe

I already i have Faced Such Issues..

Try Like this..

Close GTA V and END the Process of SOCIAL CLUB or Anyother Connects with Rockstar Games..
and
Just disable the Graphics card in Device Manager ,
and Again
Start the Game GTA V.. mostly this Will Works..

and
Update with the Latest Patches of Social Club and GTA V Patch...

So, Try my two Ideas Mostly It Works.. for Sure.. Give a try..

have you installed the Rock star social club app yet?
If not you it wont run until you install it
I had this exact issue but i never got any error mesages like you but it sounds like the same problem
go to your GTA V folder and theres a folder called installers
In there should be a app called Social Club v1.1.5.6 Setup
Install that and you should be fine
reason being is that you have to activate the game through there before you can play
try that and let us know how ya go.

If you guys having this pop up window saying gta 5 game executable path not found. please reinstall the game

go to run
type regedit click ok
and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V
then click on InstallFolder
and change the game directory to this C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V
and thats it just close it and run it
