[SOLVED] Gtx 1080ti Vs rtx 2070?

So at the moment I can get a few months used rtx 2070 for around £290 or a used gtx 1080ti for £300 which is probably much older. I know the gtx 1080ti performs better but with dlss 2.0 for the rtx 2070 and it obviously being more recent, which one is the better choice for future proofing to achieve 1440p 75fps ultra?

While DLSS requires explicit game support, it does provide an advantage that the 1080 Ti won't. Plus if the game has DXR based ray tracing, it's also likely to have DLSS. DLSS has also gotten good enough that you really have to squint at still images to see a difference.

So I would go with the 2070.

Yeah okay thanks, I was looking at a side by side image comparing dlss and native and couldn't even notice the difference haha
