I'm building a machine for web design, video editing, and publishing. It sounds like Nvidia's Quadro cards are well suited for my uses, but I may play an occasional game like X-Plane flight simulator, where a G200 series would be better.
I know Quadro firmware/software isn't made for gaming, but is there a setting in their software that could be switched to a "gaming mode" for better performance?
Or would a GTX260 do well enough for small business webdesign/video editing/publishing?
90% of the time this will be a work computer, 10% gaming.
So, other things equal, GTX 260 or Quadro FX 580 or even Quadro FX 1800 (a little more $)?
Thanks
