hello. I have 2 questions today. atm Im running a asus gtx 650 ti 1 gb. I been looking around and was wandering if I should upgrade to 2x gtx 650 ti boost and put them in sli, should I go for it or save up and buy a bigger card. and if I do buy 2 sli 650 ti boost cards will they be able to run next gen game and look purty.

at the moment im running
intel core i3-3240 cpu 3.40ghz
8 gb ram
im on a 1440 x 900, 75hz screens 2

also im still at school in my last year so buy a real pricy card like the gtx 690, titan, 780, 790 arnt really an option that said I do have a job. thanks =)

don't go from 650Ti to boost, go for one better single GPU instead, you'll prefer it much better.

650Ti Boost SLI is ok, but for next gen games it will still do ok if you want to do medium at your resolution.

A Good card for a reasonable price to get would be a Gigabyte Windforce 3x R9 290 4GB.

If you already had a 650 ti boost and a SLI capable motherboard, then I would say yes, but as you only have a regular 650ti I would recommend just getting a single better card.

While you are still running an i3, I would look at the GTX 760 and R9 280.

For the same money you could easily get a really great single 760 and for just a little bit more a good 770. Either of these in single config will blow two 650 ti boosts out of the water under most practical circumstances.

Yeah I know. My point was that it only made sense IF he had a 650 ti boost already, which he doesn't.

thank you's all for you answers. after reading all of you comments, I understand. a single card is defiantly better. I was going spend about 350$ and am willing to spend 300 to 400 dollars on a video card. so the big question is for the 300 to 400 price mark what is a good card to get for future/ next gen gaming.
