I've just recently finished updating my PC with new, up to date parts. The only problem is that I'm still using my ATI 3650 which won't play most games at a reasonable resolution, settings, or framerate. The question is that I need a new graphics card as soon as possible because not being able to play some of the games I have is getting annoying. What I want to know is should I get the GTX 660ti or the 670. I'll be gaming at 1680 x 1050 and later upgrading to 1920 x 1080. I have a wide variety of games and the most GPU intensive games I have are Battlefield 3, Metro 2033, and Crysis 2. I also want to play Planetside 2 but with the graphics card I have now it won't even launch.
Now for the cards, I have just enough money for the MSI GTX 660ti (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127696) which from what I've read has very good performance, just a little bit behind the stock 670. But what I'm worried about is the 192-bit memory interface. If I go for the EVGA 670 FTW (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130787) I'll have to wait about a month. Is it worth it to wait and get the 670, or is there not big enough of a difference. Also eventually I'll look into SLI for whichever card I get.
