well, the gpu in the gtx 680 is the gk-104, but the "110" is normally the top single gpu example, not the "104" or what ever. Nvidia has a developers conference coming up on the 16th of may, stay tuned, also they are going to talk about their new 7 billion transistor gpu.
the gtx680 (gk-104) has 3.5billion transistors, so does the new card use 2 of these current chips equalling 7billion transistors making it a gtx690 they are releasing, or are they breaking from their release formula of the last few years and releasing a standalone beast to sit ahead of the gtx680 and below the (for the purposes of this post) gtx690! ... we shall see.
