Hey guys I currently have this setup:

Fx 4100
Gtx 560
8gb ram
800w psu
Ga-78lmt-s2pt

And since alot of deals are coming atm I was wondering if I should get either this card

GTX 760

Or R9 280X

I have read reviews and I know the r9 280x does come out on top but I want to know if its worth the $30 and I also would like to know for how many years either card would last me.
Thanks for reading and all answers are appreciated :)

No. GPU will still give you more performance gain in games, but cpu and mobo should be next on your list. You can get a H81 mobo and i5 4440 quite cheap and would not hold back the performance of the 280x at all.

Im looking for performance gain at the moment. Do you think I would see a higher gain if I upgrade my cpu and mobo instead of the gpu?

Yeah cpu and mobo are the next on my list haha sadly when I built the pc I didnt realise both werent that good at all but thanks for the help. I will definetely be checking on new cpu and mobos if any come up and will probably upgrade them next year. Thanks for the help again :)

No problem :)

What is the make an model of your PSU, just to check. Some poor quality ones might claim high wattage, but actually cannot cope.

It's one that I got from my country. Tried to find reviews about the brand and couldn't get anything but it has been working fine for 2 years now. I dont know the exact model but the brand is Pixxo 800w
