GTX 970 vs R9 290

Hello! I want to know which one should i buy.

970 have 3.5 VRAM issue
(I think it is gonna suffer in future Is not it ?)

290 have full 4GB useable!

(Power consumption not the issue)

For 1080p ULTRA Gaming!

The VRAM issue, is NOT an issue. The card performs as intended. The GTX 970 easily outperforms the R9 290. If you have a choice between the two, the GTX 970 is the better choice for 1080p gaming.

IF however you plan to game at 1440p, then you might consider a 290x.

gtx 970, no question = at 1080p it will put even a 290x to shame.

I have owned both cards actually. I had a much better experience with the 970. Much less stuttering and better drivers. The nvidia cards have really nice perks too like hair works, gsync, dynamic super resolution, and lower wattage. I never noticed the vram issue even with max settings on AAA games. If you can't afford a 980 and you are def between those 2 get the 970 100%

I'd say go with the 970. If you get a 970 with a good cooler on it, it will run cooler and quieter than the 290. And like @darkbreeze said, the VRAM issue is not an issue.
