Looking to buy the H80i for £63/$100, which is the cheapest price it's available for at the moment.

My only worry is that I may be falling for it's sleek looks when there might be something else out there that does a similar job for a lot less £££.

My case is quite small (Corsair Spec 01) and cannot fit a Hyper 212 Evo, at least vertically anyway, it has to be fitted blowing air upwards, although it's only about 7mm off.

At the moment I have a stock AMD cooler that sounds like a jet, however I am still open to air coolers.

Any help will be appreciated and even more so if I save money! :)

The only air coolers that beat the H80i or are at least equal are Noctua`s NH-D14 or 15 ... or equivalent from other manufacturers.. but these are quite expensive coolers and huge.

The downside of the H80i for me was the Corsair Link software, that is full of bugs, and sometimes with new installations you have to move the cooler in different USB ports.

My fix for any of those was to connect my fans directly to my MB and let the Bios control the fans on a quiet preset and no more USB connections or buggy Corsair link software. The only downside is this way you don`t have control of your Led or to make custom curves .. that sometimes it happened not to work anyway.

I have an A10-6800k, runs at about 4.4 most of the time, although it would be fun to aim for 5. As long as it's cool whilst gaming I'm not too fussed, I was just thinking I might be able to get a comparable air cooler and a M45 mouse too or something.
