Clutching at straws here I think but worth the ask. Cleaned some thick dust off which was sandwiched between the radiator and case side fan, booted back up to CPU hitting 100c even in BIOS. Corsair link showing the pump running at 8000 rpm which is way higher than I'd expect. I assume I've dislodged a blockage or the pump has conked out for it to be running so fast. Any ideas? It wouldn't surprise me if it's died, probably had several thousand hours on time over the better part of 8-ish years.

What MAY be happening is that the speed signal from the pump unit to the CPU_FAN header is poor and spiking, causing erroneous readings. So try this. Shut down, open case. Locate the cable plugged into the CPU_FAN header. Carefully unplug that, then plug back in again. Do this several times. Check around to be sure you have not disturbed anything else. Close up and reboot, then look in iCUE again to see the pump speed. Did it change down to 4000 or less?
