Had a Virus recently and I think I removed it...

Em well I had a virus attack from some guy on a forum a couple of months ago. On the day I got the virus I ran Kaspersky and it found three or four threats and deleted them. Now I havnt had much experiences with viruses as I never got one before that so I would like to know if it really is that easy to get rid of a virus!? I mean I ran the anti-virus again and a couple times more and no more threats were found. The PC has seemed fine ever since. Is my PC basically back to working as well as it was before the virus? Im really concerned cause I find it hard to belive that a bad virus like that was/is so easy to deal with.... I am a gamer so my system performance is very important to me. Plz can someone help me out.

yea it is true .
to get rid off the virus you just need an antivirus program.
let it scan your system and delete the files for you.
Kaspersky is one of the best antivirus soft out there,
so no problem.

Trust me, it would not have been so easy if Kapersky hadn't been running or if it's virus database was out of date. An up to date antivirus makes dealing with viruses very easy.
