I recently bought a new hdd (seagate barracuda compute) with pretty good performance than my previous drives, also with that i bought i3 8100 and coolermaster mwe 450 everything was running well and yet still but after that day, every game i play just exits to desktop in less than 10 mins. I've to restart them and it keep going with no errors. Sometimes after relaunching them gives me blue screen of death. First i thought it was a gpu problem but when i tested it with my old hard drives. All was running well. So is this the hardware issue I'm dealing with or some kinda software problem?

I even tried to downgrade graphics driver but same issue always. Even if i play games in external hdd, the games doesn't crash. So what could be the software issue? Should i reinstall windows?

" Even if i play games in external hdd, the games doesn't crash."

^^^^This is really interesting.

Perhaps it has something to do with the HD access time.....and perhaps the access time on THAT hard drive isn't fast enough and can't keep up during games? I don't know. Just a guess.

Although from everything you are saying....it's pointing to the HD....even though it is very odd.

I'm leaning on a new HD.....but undecided on....would I clone the old HD over?.....or do a clean install.

A clean install would be the best way....but takes more effort.
