Hardware does not appear in MY COMPUTER!!!!

I plug either cameras or memory sticks into the USB port and they do not show
up in my computer! Why is this? What can I do to remedy this problem? I
know the device has been recognised as I get the noise and the "equipment
working and ready to use notice"!

Can anyone help?

Try Scanner and Camera Wizard.

Also, when you plug them in and open My Computer, do you see anything
labeled Removeable Disk? Do you see anything here: Right click on My
Computer, click Manage, click Removeable Storage and Disk Management.
