Question Hardware failure diagnosis ?

Hi all,
I have an ASUS S14 S406U laptop.

Issues that I am facing are:

1. Keyboard issue: keys are randomly depressed.

For e.g while typing, it could be 'Dear Sender, 000000000 bbbbbbbbbbb.

2. Battery issue: laptop immediately dies after unplugged from charger.

Can I confirm with high probability that I need to replace both keyboard and battery? Or are there other angles I need to look into?

Did these errors start at the same time? Have you tried hard resetting your laptop?

Step 1. Shut down your laptop entirely and make sure that you have backed up your work before you do.
Step 2. Remove all connected peripheral devices from your laptop such as USB drive, Bluetooth, and so on.
Step 3. Unplug the power cable from the laptop and remove its battery.
Step 4. Hold down the power button for about 15 seconds and then release.
Step 5. Let it be for about 15 minutes. After that, re-plug the charger and reinsert the battery into your laptop.
Step 6. Power on your laptop and check if the issue is resolved

For the keyboard check to make sure you are using the proper language setting also.
