Question Hardware malfunction help.

Hey, just the other day my computer started acting strange. Now, when I turn it on. The monitor just says no signal. I removed my graphics card and tried the on board graphics. Still it gave me no signal. So I did some further testing by removing all the RAM from the computer. Which gave me a Memory Initialization error. Which led me to assume that the motherboard and CPU are working properly. So I then proceeded to test each RAM slot individually with each of my RAM sticks. Which through all the testing nothing worked. In conclusion I think that the memory sticks are bad. But my question is before I go throwing money for new sticks. Is it my memory that is the issue or is it my motherboard. I'm just looking for a second opinion of the matter. Any help is greatly appreciated.
