Hi!

I'm a bit lost when it comes to server hardware specifications. I'm planning on hiring some cloud servers to deploy Windows 10 client virtual machines (2 at least, meaby more on the future) and I need them to perform tasks such as video editing on Premiere, photo editing on Photoshop or even run AutoCAD. All of this as smooth as possible, just like if they were On-Premise PCs.

¿Could someone help me with finding the right hardware minimuns for this scenario?

Also, ¿Any recommendation on which cloud service to use for this purpose? (AWS,Google Cloud...)

Thank you in advance.

Regards

Two things:

1) Your original post seems to be a homework like question. We do not do homework.

2) My original comment(s) stand. More information is needed and you must get that information from your clients. Define, for example, what performance level(s) will be considered as not too slow and lagging.

You are not taking on a project that can be addressed via a computer forum. There is far to much to be considered and evaluated.

Much more information needed.

Requirements/performance? Criteria should be quantifiable and measurable.

Budget?

Suggest that you update your post to first present your ideas and what you are considering as options.

Specific hardware, cloud services, deployment plans, etc. and why you made the applicable choices.

Provide your plan and then solicit comments and suggestions.

Hi Ralston,

I didn't gave any more info just because I don't know it, all my clients asked me for is having cloud computers that are capable of the tasks I mentioned without being too slow or laggy. So that's why I needed some guidance or first impressions hardware-wise (obviously speaking about cloud servers hardware, if I had to do it on premise with pc components, I wouldn't have any problem, but again, I'm a bit lost when it comes to cloud server hardware and that's why I was asking for some basic notions)

No limits budget-wise, that's the actual point of asking as well, so I can see if the project would be viable once I knew what hardware to look for on the cloud's platform.

Thanks for your response.

There may well be possible comments and suggestions that address a particular question or issue.

But not an entire project.

You need to focus on and develop a requirements based project plan.

I understand your first point and appreciate that you gave me some directions anyway. I'll try to "do my homework first" and then try to ask again if needed.

Thanks again.
