Has the core 2 duo e8400 vt-x support?

Hi all

I have a core 2 duo e8400 processor and I´m trying to enable the vt-x support for virtualice 64 bits machines.

Reading some docs I have found that this processor has support for vt-x, but the option is not present in the bios setup and the Intel processor identification utility says "Vt-x = No"

¿What´s wrong? ¿Has this cpu vt-x support?

Yes it does have VT-x but if you're running it on an older motherboard it may not be enabled without a firmware update.
