HD 4670 driver problem

I have a friend that have the Sapphire HD 4670 constantly gets the error message that driver stopped working even when he is just using Chrome or firefox.

He is not a hard core gamer. Just plays Plants vs zombies and NBA 2k 12 at 1280* 720 resolution.

Already did reinstall windows, update drivers and even reinstall games and browsers. Still having the same issue.

He has an i3 3220, MSI Mobo, 4 GB RAM and 350 watt PSU.

Does anyone have any idea about this? Thanks

Make sure that the temperature if the card is not too high.
4670 is a really old card has he ever changed the thermal paste? If not change it but be careful not to over apply it.
