HD 6570

Hi All,

I got my Radeon HD6570 as part of my HP system. Works ok for the most part but want to squeeze out as much possible power out of it. I've seen posts about MSI afterburner as a means to OC the card, but haven't had any luck. I've tried different versions, and changed the config (UnofficialOverclockingMode = 1) to allow for it. Still no luck I am stuck at 675MHZ Core Clock and 1000 Memory.

I'm saving my pennies for another card, but mean while I'd like to get as much as I can from this one.

Anyone have any ideas?

Retail computers are not made for overclocking, they want you to buy more expensive parts rather than getting free performance via overclocking.

Hello Catimus, There are some verry useful and helpful OverClocking programs, but it's not recommended to OverClock any parts of your System because it may cause harm and can damage your graphic card or more parts of your System. If you want to OverClock your Graphic card one of the most important thing about it is the Temperature.
if it goes to high you can completely Overheat(Fry) your graphic card and may no longer work and can not be repaired, you have to add a new graphic card.

Some programs that will overclock and some of them has fan settings, so you can set the speed of your fan. better cooling.

This is a program that will allow you to kill your cpu(Disable it) this is if you want to extreme overclock your graphic card and if the Temp goes to high you stop it so it doesn't do damage.
