HD 7850 1gb or 2gb

Planning to get a Radeon HD 7850 soon but couldn't decide if I should get the 1gb or 2gb version. Does it matter if I choose between the two? Would there be a difference in performance? Worth it to go with the larger one?

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Skyrim, GTA IV, Crysis 2, MMORPG, HD movies
MOBO: Asus P8Z77 V-LK
CPU: i5 3570k stock
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 4gb x 2
PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 520w
MONITOR: AOC e2050sn (20", LED)

Currently just using HD4000 igp.

for less than 1080p just grab a 1gb, for 1080p or higher get the 2gb version

I see. So if I were to upgrade my monitor to 1080p in the future, should I get another 1gb and crossfire then?

I disagree. I think it's bad advice to tell someone to buy a 1gig if they game above 1600 resolution. 1gig is the new 512mb.......... buy a 2gig card.

and no. cross-firing 2 1gig cards is fruitless and monetarily insane.

well it all depends on the budget, got more money ofc you get more vram or a better card, if not then get the best you can

if you want to crossfire later then grab the 2gb versions
