HdD speeds?

Are these speeds good?, the harddrive is a wdc wd10ears-00y5b1

these speeds dont seem that high, and ive noticed slow loading in games when i think they should be faster

is there anything i could do besides buying a new hdd?

its a bit low but not by much. If you're using an OS other than 7 or vista them make sure you have aligned your partition. Also if you're in IDE or compatibility mode, you'll get better performance with AHCI (bios setting) but be sure to readh up on how to switch. theres a bit more to it if the OS is already installed.
