Hi, I'm new to this. Planning to upgrade my HDD for my HP pavilion all in one 24-R029 Model. It has AMD processor. I would like to know what SSD compatible with my model. I'm confused with SATA 1, 2 & 3 interfaces. I'm not sure what interfaces are available and which hard drive to pick. I would appreciate the help provided in this group.

Currently ST2000DM008-2FR1 this is the HDD in my desktop. I just upgraded the RAM from 8 GB to 16 GB with another 8GB RAM. Got stuck with hard disk upgrade.

Thanks and be kind, I'm not in this computer world, I'm a new DIY guy with medical profession.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

This should be the motherboard in your All-in-One;
https://support.hp.com/in-en/produc...0a/17210305/model/20511219/document/c05633359
That being said you should be able to drop in a 2280 SATA based M.2 SSD.
