[SOLVED] HDD stops working for some reason

Hello,
So my HDD was acting very strange
the red light was on and in task manager it was showing 100% usage but with 0/kbps read and write
in between it jumps to 25mbps read and 15kbps write
i restarted the pc to see if it gets fixed, but the pc refused to start and was stuck on the windows loading screen
the pc has a samsung ssd 120gb 570 something mbps for boot
today i started the pc it worked but hdd was not appearing in the file explorer.

is this a hdd issue?

I'd get a Western Digital or Seagate HDD, avoid 3TB ones as they are prone to failing.
