Question HDMI connection between laptop and TV ?

Hi guys.

I have a laptop with a fully disconnected screen. I want to connect it to my TV through HDMI.
I can see loading screen on TV for only a few seconds and then the screen goes black. When I connect the laptop screen back everything works fine. Any ideas what the problem can be? Thanks

which TV are you using? maybe refresh rate and/or resolution is too much or not supported by the TV

which laptop are you using?
graphics driver up to date?
BIOS up to date?

try using hotkeys windows + p to expand or clone the screen to TV

Have you tried setting windows for multiple displays?
