[SOLVED] HDMI drivers from new gpu mess up with system audio when screen goes standby

Pretty understandable from the title itself, i changed my gpu recently and uninstalled old/installed new drivers and ever since, when the monitor goes off signal ( in stand-by ) the audio interrupts for a second and comes back again after.

It's pretty annoying as my only alternative for now is to disable screen turn off if i want to listen to something on the background. I'm also using a sound enhancer( DFX ) for my headphones but i used that with the old gpu too and it had no issues. I highly suspect it's something with the amd drivers ( amd gpu ) and i'm looking forward to fix it.

Have you tried turning off DFX Audio Enhancer to see if you still have the me issue?

okay, so lame, i force closed the enhancer and now it's gone... 😀 Still, i used not to have this issues before doing the gpu swap, but there it is the solve, so embarassing, thanks!
