Attempted to build a new budget rig and still in the test bench stage, I can only get an image to appear using the Display Port to get into the BIOS. Both HDMI ports don't produce any video at all. Windows is not installed yet.
I updated the BIOS to F14 and even the latest one possibly a beta because it didn't work with the F14 version either. Tried two different hdmi cables and both hdmi inputs on my monitor which I use everyday so I know they work fine.
Tried clearing CMOS, and tried with ssd removed and with one ram stick at a time.
Went into the BIOS and played around with the integrated graphics settings but no luck getting hdmi to work.
Another thing I noticed when it says "No boot device detected and to insert bootable media and press any key" if I press ctrl-alt-delete the computer will no longer respond to any keyboard input and has to be powered down by the power button
I connected a speaker to the motherboard and it does one single beep stating everything is fine so it appears it gets past the POST but does not produce a signal via hdmi.
Any ideas? Faulty board?
