I posted earlier regarding this. Thanks to people who helped out. I was able to get the GPU working with my new RX 580.
I recently upgraded my system. My currents specs are: Ryzen 5 1600, Gigabyte GA-AB350 Gaming 3.0, 16GB Gskill & the RX 580.
The issue is now when I plug in my GPU to my monitor with an HDMI, games refuse to run. At all. Crashes right at splash screen. But when I plug in my DVI, every game runs just fine.
Should I consider this a sign that the HDMI cable is faulty and order a new cable? I seem to have misplaced the original HDMI cable that came with my monitor. Is that causing any compatibility issue since I am using an aftermarket cable?
Should I order from amazon and keep on replacing items until I find the correct cable that sorts this issue out? Or should I just forget about HDMI and keep on running on DVI?
Thanks for your advise in advance.
