Headset microphone stopped working while in use.

My microphone suddenly stopped working, I tried switching the 3.5mm jack to the back panel with no luck.
Assuming my headset finally have up after 5 years, I went out to buy a new one with the same issues.
So far I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, but am not sure where to continue from here. My computer recognizes the devices I plug in, but will not work.


Anyone have any suggestions

Yes, my they are listed under my recording devices and set as default

try to go the headset properties and selelct listen to this device and see if it plays back from your headphones or speakers

No luck, I get no playback
