Question help 1080p 240hz or 1440p 165hz for apex?

I have trouble deciding which monitor to get for playing apex and tried googling this but couldn't get any good answers

My pc specs:
i5 9600k
rtx 2070 super
16gb ram

Please help and share your opinions

For a game like Apex fps and Hz will help more than resolution. Just make sure you check out reviews before choosing a monitor, I’ve seen the occasional high Hz monitor come out poorly in reviews so you cannot just assume it will be good.

What fps can you achieve when using 1080p?

A lot have said for fps gaming 240hz would be better but I've also read that a game like apex would benefit from the higher resolution.

I don't remember how much fps I'm achieving and I cant check it as I am not home right now :/ but my apex is capped at 141fps and currently my monitor is AOC 32" 1080p 144hz Curved
