Hi:

Turned on my system today and the integrated ethernet interface is
gone from device manager. Reinstalling the drivers didn't help. I
attached a usb network adapter and it works fine. Any suggestions
appreciated.

TIA,
Chris

Is it enabled in cmos setup? How about a light on the RJ45 jack? You could
try clearing the cmos, but write down all settings first. Have you ran the
"Add Hardware" wizzard? I guess the Realtek chip might have blown. In that
case a pci nic be a better choice that the usb.

Chris

Reset, and enter the BIOS.

Load the BIOS optimized defaults.

Then reset the MAC for the onboard lan. Save and exit.
