Question Help me choose the best GPU for gaming in 2025 ?

I’m looking to upgrade my PC and need advice on which graphics card to get. I primarily game at 1440p resolution and play demanding titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Starfield, and Forza Horizon 5. I'm also interested in future-proofing for upcoming games.

Here are my main priorities:

• Smooth performance at high settings
• Support for ray tracing and AI features like NVIDIA DLSS or AMD FSR
• Good thermal performance and reliability

Currently, I’m considering:

• NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070/4080
• AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT

Budget: Around $800, but I’m flexible if it’s worth it.

What do you recommend? Are there any upcoming GPUs I should wait for? I’m also open to other brands or suggestions!

If you can wait a few more months, then you should hang on until the RTX570 is released.

If you are located near a Microcenter, the one near me has had this card at $850.

That said nvidia and AMD are releasing new cards. Not as much known about AMD cards yet. The nvidia cards we know the suggested msrp but count on them likely bring out of stock or hard to get for a buy and for people to be scalping them.
