Hello I have a HP P7-1254. Let me start by saying I know its a bit outdated but I'm not expecting to play the newest games or anything close. all I like playing is csgo. So please keep the "buy a new pc" comments to a minimum. I'm looking to get a gfx card and upgrade from the integrated. I've seen where older threads people used the asus Radeon 7750 but its no longer available and might be obsolete by now. SO. what are thoughts on what cards I can use now without having to upgrade psu if possible. and please explain your responses because I'm far from a computer wiz. Thank you in advanced for your help.

The 750 Ti is very big jump in performance over integrated graphics, I think you'll be happy with it. By the way, the AMD R7 250 is about the same performance as the 7750, in case you are interested in AMD or maybe can get one for less than a 750. Get the DDR5 model if you do, not the DDR3 model.
Can you please state what power supply you might have? Since it's HP, it may not be branded, but try to find the voltages, amps and wattage. From the games you play, I recommend the GT 730 for very light gaming (For your case, Source games), or the GTX 750 Ti to play more games at a decent performance. In my opinion I recommend the 750 Ti because it is more powerful and therefore it can play even the AAA games at an optimal performance, and to "futureproof" yourself for the years to come.

For a long time now, the GTX 750ti is almost the go to card for older HP computers as it's very power efficient but still gives good performance. Even though it has been surpassed by the 1050/ti, I would still recommend the 750ti as it works on the older legacy BIOS computers, where as the 1050 doesn't.

Internal 300W (100V-240V)

Form factor: Internal ATX
Total wattage: 300W
Nominal input voltage range:
100-127V/6A (50-60Hz)
200-240V/3A (50-60Hz)

Is the 750ti compatible with the stock mobo and psu or do i need any further upgrading?

You're good to go. At 300W your PSU will be fine (I know some who run the 750ti just fine on HP computers with 220W PSUs). Just be sure to get a card that doesn't require an additional power connection, most 750ti cards don't, but so do so avoid them. Apart from that, simply put the card in the top expansion slot, connect your monitor to the card, turn on your computer and install the drivers.
