Help me with my video card.

so , i want to run games without FPS lag at a high resolution. here are my specs:
video card: nvidia geforce GT 220
processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz
ram: 4 gb
hard drive: 500 GB

Many people have told me that my main problem is my video card, and with just changing that i should be fine. Also, my PC is a dell studio XPS 8000. Can someone here recommend me , or link me a video card in the 200ish $ range? am a little worried about my power supply though, cuz i think the studio xps 800, comes with a 350W one. so i should upgrade my PSU too, any recommendations in which to buy? add another 80$ to it for the PSU, so my budget is 280$ for a great videocard+ a PSU for it. thanks for the help!

for the gpu, i recommend either a gtx 550ti, 560, 560ti, gtx 650, 650ti, 6850, 6870, 7850. Depending which is in your budget.

For your psu, a decent 500watt one would suffice. Something like a corsair builder 500watt. Its around 50 bucks. good luck. But your dell case may not fit the psu.

Is there anything i need to know about sizes, or anything that have to be the same to fit my PC, of video cards ? I am thinking on buyign this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127615 with this PSU: http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Builde...+Unit+600+watt

any suggestions? i think that with 4gb ram am okay
