Hello,
recently i have had trouble burning a cd.when i try to burn a cd,it will go threw every song to process it befor it starts the burn but right at the last song my computer will shut down please help

What software are you using to burn with ?

If Windows Media Player, I personally don't like this because it doesn't tell you what's going on.

I've used Koyote Soft's CD Easy and Ashampoo Lite -- both free downloads and find them reliable.

Of course it's feasible that the burner is on the way out -- possibly a mechanical problem that affects the laser carriage as it approached the outside of the disc.

See if it fails when playing a 75 minute + audio album.
