Hi! I'm a new member fresh off the batch, so do forgive me for any lacking pieces of information. I bought a HP-Pavillion p-7 1254 well over a year ago, and since then, I've noticed a reoccurring theme: Its graphics card is not all up to today's modern PC-gaming standards. I've been scouring the web for a good graphics card, and all I've found wwere these two cards: Raedon HD 7750 and 6670. I'm looking to play games such as Skyrim and GW2, amd my budget is around $100-200'ish.

-Do you think this is a good choice?
-> If not, please suggest another and please be detailed!
-Thanks in advance! 😀

Specs: AMD A6-3620 APU Processor
AMD Raedon HD 6530D Graphics Card
8 GB RAM
300W PSU
1 TB Hard Drive

Here's the link for anything I missed: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&docname=c03135882

Yeah if you can take a GTX660, you can definitely take a GTX650 Ti. It's smaller and draws less wattage. The GTX660 will deliver over 50% more performance though, so they're not as close as the model numbers would suggest. The lineup is actually really unevenly-spaced - GTX680 for example is around 5% above GTX670. Some very small gaps, and some huge ones. That said, most current games can be maxed at 1080p, AA and high settings on a GTX650 Ti. Some of the more demanding games you'd need to disable AA or drop some settings. With a GTX660, you'd have more than enough muscle for everything maxed except Far Cry 3.

I've narrowed down to three excellent graphics cards that don't require a huge amount of power: AMD Raedon 6670, 6770, and 7750. Which one is the best?
Which one(s) can I use without having to buy a new power supply?

If I were to upgrade my current card to an AMD Raedon HD 7750, what fps/setting would I get for Skyrim? It seems like a very good card, and the best part is that I don't need to buy a new power source. 😀

As Sam said, it was a benchmark. Moreover, in the link you posted, it says that the HD 7750 can play the game at extremely high details right? but your link didn't also say "How smooth" it will play at these extreme details :)

In summary, all cards can play all games on any graphic settings, but being "smooth" or not depends on what fps satisfy you.

Yeah that's it - you can use ultra and AA at 1080p and you'll be around 30fps, a little less in some places, a little more in others. Disable antialiasing and you should have consistently smooth gameplay, unless you're somebody who demands 60fps. I'd personally keep the AA and drop from ultra to high for the best overall combination of quality and performance.

Last questions:

-Will my processor seriously bottleneck the performance I get out of the 7750?

-Should I even dare think about getting a new psu, or do you guys think I'll be fine without one?

Ok. So I went to a local computer store, and the vendor said he would be able to order the AMD Raedon HD 7750 1-GB GDDR5 card for me. However, he said that I would have to get a new power supply because it didn't have the specified pci connector. Is this true? I don't mind getting a 50$-ish power supply.
