Question Help please

Hello, i am having a problem with downloading on steam. Ever since i built my PC my steam downloading was going very slow. Whenever i download using other launchers, my speeds are Fine, but steam just does'nt work.
I have watched videos, and none seem to work, so i come here for support. The download speed is increasing and dropping in consistent patterns, and normally is at 40-50 KBs. The disk usage seems fine, but the network usage is bad, and it seems to gbe affecting the disk usage.

Check that your hdd/ssd (wherever you store your downloaded files) aren't (close to) full.

I think the problem is that my HDD is almost full. 80GB left, so might be that. THank you for the help and i'll let you know if making space helps.

Yeah, try to keep some free space. on mechanical drives it won't impact longevity, but will still slow down. Afaik Windows will start displaying the bar for the drive as red with <10% free space.

Also check you download servers and clear you download cache.

Just like @Old Molases suggested, Clear the download cache, Change Steam server location and also Check your network status. This might also help
