Hi recently started up an old pc and gave it to my mate. Im not sure if its a gpu problem, but when he loads up games the frames are really choppy and low not sure how to fix?

It also takes a while to load easy apps such as google slower than it should be.

Solution
try running this on hdd - https://www.seagate.com/au/en/support/downloads/seatools/seatools-win-master/

maybe running this and seeing if any new drivers, https://www.intel.com.au/content/www/au/en/support/intel-driver-support-assistant.html

the CPU appears to not be functioning as well as it could, according to that link. GPU is about right. looks like cpu was busy as well when you ran it so that would decrease overall score.

not the best website to use as scores go up and down, it likes mine today but some other days its bad and nothing has changed - https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/43482757

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700T CPU @ 2.80GHz
ST2000DM001 - hdd
AMD Radeon R7 A360
Intel(R) HD Graphics 530

anything else you need to know?
But yeah the problem is the computer is really slow with everything especially when he goes to run certain games, the frames are at a constant 10 or below and the gameplay is really clunky and choppy.

i7-6700T - Low-power laptop CPU, not ideal for gaming.

AMD Radeon R7 A360 - Laptop graphics chipset, not ideal for gaming.

What you have here is an 6 year old laptop which, when it was new, had a mid-range, semi-ok graphics chipset and a power-saving mid-range CPU. Father time has not been kind to your laptop, and now, in 2021, the GPU is completely out of date and cannot run modern games.

On top of which, the 35W CPU doesn't really cut it any more either, and will struggle to run modern games as well.

Upgrading to 8GB RAM will help, and so will changing from that awful 2.5in HDD to an SSD. But ultimately this is not a gaming laptop and is way too old to run modern games well.
