Help!!! Ram problems

Hey guys i am going to build my first custom build i just have a quick question. Will this MSI 785GM-E51 Desktop Motherboard - AMD Chipset run stable with just 1x 8gb ddr3 ram module or should i buy 2x 4gb or maybe 4x 2gb idk i just wanna be safe so could some one help?

I would start with just a 2x2gb kit of corsair or crucial 1600 ddr3. Most folks see no real benefit using more than 4 gb. The money can be better spent elsewhere.
