Help setup Win2008 server

hi Guys.

I need help configurering a Windows Server 2008 R2.

I need it to accept VPN connections and provide internet access for incoming clients. Clients will be connecting via the internet. The server will also have a media-server installed which should also be available to VPN clients.

Is a dual nic required?
What roles should be installed on the server?

In my experience it is preferable to have an asa type device between your server and the outside. If your insistent on not providing that seperation, 2008r2 has this: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/network/dd420463
