I'm running an RMx 750 (2 years) and RMx 1000 (3 years) with no problems and I like them as they are quiet.....but if you want to stay away from the RMx there are lots of other good models.

As far as 850 watts....that's pretty high (most systems can get away with 650 watts or so)....but if you decided to get something like a 3090 then it's not that high.

Here are two very good articles on PSUs.
The second is a tier list which will give you an idea of what is good and what isn't.

....also both RMx units I bought came with all the cables.

ok i search litlle and none from top i cant buy where i live so only what i found so far in same range of price is this

CORSAIR RMx Series. RM850x 80 PLUS Gold
COOLERMASTER V850 Gold
Toughpower, 850 W
EVGA 850W GQ SuperNOVA
Corsair 850W TX850M

Well...I'm kind of a Corsair fan....and I've had good luck with them....so I would recommend Corsair.

Out of the other three....I read that Coolermaster and EVGA do have good models.....I'm just not sure of those models. I would google them.

I've never read anything good about Toughpower. I'm not saying there aren't good ones out there but I'm not familiar.

so what shoukd i get from all this and did johnnyguru ok for reviews i saw evga GQ model have 10 value corsair tx also 10 but rm850 onbly 8.5 value is this for trust or avoid

Corsair 850W RM850 Black 2019 -
Seasonic 850W, 80 PLUS Gold, SSR-850FX
COOLERMASTER V850 Gold
EVGA 850W GQ SuperNOVA
Corsair 850W TX850M

TX850M would be my choice... I specified in my comment above. That CM V850 is really solid as well, but it's usually much more expensive.

If you want reassurance, @jonnyguru might chime in to help... I'm by no means an expert.

R5 3600 - ~80-90W with PBO enabled... if everything stock it should be around ~70W
RTX 3080 - in some instances could peak at 400W+ (round it to 500W)
Rest of the parts might draw around ~100W... that's a gross estimation, most likely is less.

So in the worst possible scenario (quite unrealistic as you won't load to the brink your GPU and CPU at the same time) you're looking at under 700W.
Esentially 750W should be more than enough for your system... an 850W unit will be plenty even with future upgrades or overclocking.

So even if i buy 3080 +105 tdp cpu will be enough? ,also i found antec hcg 750w for good price ?

If you're wanting an upgrade, I'd stick with the 850W units. Other people in previous threads had problems with 750W units when going with the 3080 and a more power hungry CPU.

Antec HCG Gold models are based on the Seasonic Focus Plus platform... they're great as well.
