[SOLVED] Help upgrading

My system is a amd fx 6300, evga gtx960ssc 4gb, 8gb ram, on a msi sli krait edition., Call of duty warzone has random frame dips on anything above verry low settings what can I do to fix that.


My ideas where more ram from 8 to 32, a better gpu like a evga rtx 2060 ko and possibly a fx 8350 but are these worth it?

I'm in the us and use Amazon for parts my buget would be pretty low like 400

Going to a FX8350 depends on the motherboard you have. Many cheaper motherboards suffer throttling issues trying to run 125w CPU’s. Also a FX8350 is still way below a modern entry/mid level cpu. You really need to get off the old AM3+ platform if you want any reasonable improvement. Investing in an obsolete FX8XXX cpu and DDR3 RAM is a waste of money in the long term.

Define cheap. Not staying in original budget and upgrading the gpu at the same time. However wasting money on obsolete hardware with little performance gain isn’t helping you either.

Without the gpu could I get a motherboard ram and CPU under 350 I'll get graphics later

I’m not US based and assume you mean 350 USD? I will let someone local make suggestions on local pricing but a decent Ryzen cpu/motherboard/RAM is doable.

Shouldn't I go with Intel saying there new upclocking on i3 chips to high temps allows for great performance

cod warzone random frame dips is cause on ur ram,but 32 is too much
16 would be enough
i suggest u go for ryzen 3 3300x/ ryzen 5 3600/x
16 gb 3200 mhz ram
with B450 tomahawk max
