I bought a pre built computer last year (my mistake) as I didn't think I would be able to build a computer and ended up not doing my research.
It came with a 750w PSU but the make is CIT. I haven't heard of them either. But recently it has been getting very hot and I have searched around and it appears this power supply is not reliable.
So I am now looking for a new branded PSU. I will be buying this along with a new CPU and GPU so I don't have a lot of money to throw at one but I am looking for a decant 750w PSU that isn't too expensive.
Any help will be appreciated.

I plan on getting the GTX 760 and either the AMD FX8320 or the FX6300 depending on the price of the PSU

HX650 should do fine. My 4670k and 7970 run fine on a quality 650w

Out of curiosity, my friend suggested an OCZ power supply. Are these any good or are the ones you listed better?

As for OCZ, I don't know if it still holds true but they used to be made by FSP. After doing a little bit a searching I've found that, it becomes a scenario where some are good and some are not so much.

Simple answer is stick with one of our suggestions
