[SOLVED] Help with flashing RX480 into a 580

I own a Sapphire Nitro+ RX480 8GB GDDR5. I repasted the card and the temperatures are good. 60s in GTA5.
Full specs are in my signature!

I would like to upgrade this card to a 580 for some more performance. I already downloaded a Sapphire Pulse 580 bios since low clocked for a 580, but still an improvement and it should work besyon my 480.

I am using ATIwinflash, but it can't find my card, even though the card works fine. Neither the command line nor the windows version works. Both spit this error:

AMDVbiosflash sees the card, but it throws an ssid error when I try to flash.

Hello, i flashed my sapphire nitro+ oc 480 into a 580 using amdvbios flasher and when it booted no program could see the gpu, even though windows was running off of it.

I tried again, and was greeted with a no boot.

I flipped my dual bios switch and the card booted right up, however how do i fix the side with the bad bios?

Figured it out. Booted into windows on good bios, flipped switch and flashed card with the correct 480 bios.

Ended up flashing a different 580 bios with success tho.

Figured it out. Use AMDVBflash from CMD and force flashed a 580 pulse vbios on the card.
