[SOLVED] Help with new build

I want to upgrade my CPU/MB. My pc is for gaming at 1440p at 144Mhz

Here is my present build:
i7 7700k with Corsair H100i v2
Asus Prime z270-A
Samsung 970 pro 1tb
EVGA RTX 2080 TI Black Edition
G Skill TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHZ F4-3200C14D-16GTZR (I have that 2 times for a total of 32GB)
1200W Power Suply

I want to get Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Master
I am not sure if I should upgrade to either 10700k or 10900k. I have not kept myself well informed as of late so.
If I am not mistaken 10700k wont support pcie 4 and they say that next gen might be pcie 4 (is that confirmed??). I know myself and when the new nvidia graphic card comes out I will probably sell my 2080 ti and get the new one. But if I am not mistaken again 10900k will support pcie 4??

Just not sure what to do here..

AFAIK Intel 10th. gen. processors do not support PCIe 4, not even the 10900k. Some of the Z490 boards have the support enabled for the upcoming 11th. gen. chips. Then again, if you are gaming, there isn't much to gain from it...
