I was informed yesterday that we are buying a new laptop for my daughter's mid-January birthday. Are all the good deals gone by now? Not sure what a good deal on a tiny laptop even looks like anymore.
She wanted something like 12" but I pushed forward to at least 14", and the HP Envy x360 seems decent. This would be for all around use, work, graduate school, home use, streaming media, light gaming (mostly for older games, or Diablo 4, POE). I bet anything good at 12" will be super expensive and also lacking in some areas.
(Not sure what the AMD Zen 4 6-core Ryzen 5 8640HS does in terms of GPU)
The HP listed below is close to the range I am hoping for. It looks nice? Would the $20 extra dollars be worth it for 11 Pro? The one listed below is 11 Pro. I could be talked into spending more (or even less) if there is just cause. 🙄
